Can Anyone Drive In This City?
I ask this question because this week I have witnessed an unprecedent number of sign, poles, traffic lights, fences and other miscellaneous utilities that have been ploughed into by cars. I reckon within a 5km radius of where I live I could name at least a half dozen things that have seen the pointy end of a vehicle. Were there mitigating circumstances involved in these accidents or are we just bad drivers in Adelaide? I think it is the latter. People in Adelaide speed, fail to give way, fail to indicate, are rude, don't let you in, don't watch the road - the list is nearly endless. I see the police pull people over every day yet we do not learn. Can one single person do anything about it though?
