I have been buying smoked fish of late. Last week bought some smoked Tuna. I had never tried it before and OH MY GOD it was heavenly. At AUD$30.00 per kg it certainly isn't cheap.
YUM. Smoked tuna certainly sounds heavenly...I've never had it. However, I love love LOVE smoked salmon. I think I might have to buy some now...and whip up some cream cheese spread and drizzle the whole thing with some good olive oil and throw some capers on top...
Oh dammit, Gary. I have an expensive food craving and I'm holding you responsible. :-P
I buy smoked herring and trout from the local Armenian store (cheap), It's great with a good goat cheese and some red wine, add some warm fresh sourdough bread (they make it fresh every few hours) and I'm good to go.
